Daisy Corporate Services is part of the Daisy Group of companies.
When Daisy Group was first established, it had a simple business model – to be an alternative provider of telephone lines and calls for UK-based small and medium-sized businesses.
Over a decade later, as technology and the different types of communication have advanced, Daisy has continued to evolve through a combination of organic and acquisitive growth – creating a broad portfolio that addresses the needs of UK businesses.
Today, the Daisy Group includes Daisy Communications serving the needs of small to medium businesses and Daisy Corporate Services for the mid to enterprise market.
DAISY… THE STORY SO FAR
Daisy was founded in 2001 by founder and executive chairman Matthew Riley.
Having founded Daisy with a handful of staff, the company experienced rapid organic growth in its first five years and was named the fastest growing technology business in the UK in the 2005 Sunday Times’ Tech Track.
In 2009 the business floated on the London Stock Exchange’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM). Daisy acquires the businesses, of or certain assets from, Vialtus, ATC, Eurotel and Redstone.
Daisy expands its data and telecoms service offerings with acquisitions including the businesses of, or certain assets from, BNS, Murphx, Spiritel, Outsourcery, Telinet and Worldwide.
Daisy begins to develop its IT capabilities to sell into the existing customer base with acquisitions of Netcrowd, Indecs, Layer 3 and Daisy Data Centre.
In December 2014, Daisy once again became a private company in order to embark on its next stage of growth.
Daisy acquires: Damovo UK and Phoenix IT Group.
At the end of 2016 Daisy acquires Alternative Networks plc, a strong and complementary fit with its existing business and operations, further strengthening its mobile and fixed line product and service offerings.
In June 2018 Daisy expanded its SMB Direct customer base with the acquisition of DVO2 and its SMB Indirect customer base with the acquisition of Voice Mobile, a direct EE Partner.
In Summer 2018 whilst still retaining the benefits that come with being part of the wider Daisy Group, four independent businesses were established to better serve the needs of direct customers and indirect partners.
The most significant change saw the merger of the Group’s three channel-serving businesses (formerly known as Daisy Wholesale, Daisy Distribution and Daisy Worldwide) under a new brand, Digital Wholesale Solutions. The Daisy Partner Services business also began to operate independently from the rest of Daisy Group, trading as Allvotec Limited.
In March 2021 private equity fund Inflexion invested in the Digital Wholesale Solutions business, which was demerged from and left the Daisy Group.
In June 2023 Daisy Corporate Services acquired cyber security service provider ECSC Group plc, to provide complementary services to enhance their current operational resilience portfolio.
Today the Daisy Group includes Daisy Communications (providing business communications for small to medium companies) and Daisy Corporate Services (providing enterprise-class IT and communications to mid to large organisations).
