Daisy wins ‘Most Effective Recovery’ and ‘BCM Planning Software of the Year’ at the CIR Business Continuity Awards 2021.
Daisy brought home two prestigious trophies at this year’s CIR Business Continuity Awards – the UK’s definitive mark of excellence for the sector, celebrating the past year’s greatest achievements in business continuity, security and resilience. We couldn’t be prouder of our award-winning team
The coveted ‘Most Effective Recovery’ award aims to celebrate the company or individual responsible for achieving the most effective business recovery in the face of adversity over the past year. Daisy nominated Alan Lloyd, Recovery Specialist for his dedication, tenacity and expertise when battling against the clock and against all odds to get a manufacturing customer up and running before the next shift.
Les Price Head of Availability Services says: “I am delighted for Alan to receive this award for the most effective recovery. It is richly deserved acknowledgement for a truly dedicated IT Recovery Specialist. Daisy customers rely on experienced professionals like Alan at their time of need along with our supporting teams and infrastructure. Congratulations Alan!”
Our multi-award-winning software Shadow-Planner scooped the trophy for ‘BCM Planning Software of the Year’. This category aims to recognise the software developer that has done the most for companies of all sizes to improve their continuity management and operational resilience, while demonstrating that the software is innovative, original and incorporates best practice within the field of business continuity management.
Colin Jeffs, who heads up our BCM consultancy and software team, says, “This endorsement of our current Shadow-Planner software is fantastic. Later this financial year, we will be launching a new, improved version to the market, so winning this coveted trophy now is a great springboard for that, illustrating how Shadow-Planner is leading the industry.”
